We are open to submissions except in December and January. Submissions can be sent via email (in the body of the email rather than as an attachment) or via post. Response times are about the same for each and we are currently rather backlogged. Please include a SAE or email address so that we can reply and always include a postal (snail mail) address so that we can send you any complementary copies. We recommend that you read our guidelines before submitting.

A Note On Queries - If you are querying something to which I have replied please remember to provide the relevant details (ie approximate dates, magazine and, if applicable, issue number it was accepted for, date cheques were cashed, etc). If you are querying a submission to which you have not had a response, please provide the approximate date of posting and to which magazine it was addressed (or whether it was addressed to the press, etc). By doing so, you not only greatly improve your chances of getting a useful reply, but you reduce the time I have to spend on your query, meaning I can respond to more submissions and queries.

A Note On Emails : We receive a lot of email communication. If your request is fairly urgent (such as a time-sensitive advert or a query about an earlier communication) we would recommend that you title it in a way that will make it stand-out from the crowd (eg 'Advert for event on June 5th' or '2nd Query') as it is rather easy to lose them amongst submissions. In addition, we are deluged with junk mail and it would really help if you can avoid making the title of your email sound like junk mail in case it is filtered into the junkmail folder and I miss it and accidentally mark it as a phishing scam. If querying, please forward a copy of any reply and/or your original email. And, please, send submissions in the body of the email not as attachments - it saves a lot of time!
